I purchasd this tv one week ago and with in two days the sound on the HD chanels would reverberate but was ok on the analog chanels. When I contacted Samsung I was told that they don't have a sound problem on this model so the problem must be my cable service. i explained that I don't have this problem on my Sony tvs and agian was told the problem was with my cable company. I looked at the negative reviews on this site and found that most of the complaints where for the same problem that I have so I contacted Amazons customer service and they looked into the reviews and decided to refund my money and take the tv back. This was a plesent surprise so I ordered a Sony from them to replace the Samsung. This was my first Samsung product and will be my last.Customer Review: Samsung Customer Service

After reading customer experiences pursuing repairs with Samsung Customer Service, any company such as Samsung that treats their customers as expendable, or of no consequence, doesn't need me, and I don't want them. I purchased this TV to upgrade from an old fading analog TV to a HDTV, as well as to serve as a computer monitor (more on that below).
I have a DirecTV TiVo setup to drive the TV, but unfortunately the TiVo is non HD, so the picture is not as sharp as it could be, but even with only the S-Video conection it is very good. Just seems odd that the LCD TV picture seems less sharp than my old analog TV, but that seems to be a common complaint of all LCDs. I can't imagine needing any higher contrast ratio - 10,000:1 almost seems too sharp ! Seems like maybe the higher contrast is why a non-HD picture looks worse.
I hooked up an antenna, and can switch to HDTV on local channels via the antenna. This is where this TV really shines ! The off the air HD picture clarity is amazing !
Regarding "Motion Response", again, because the picture is so sharp, even with the 6ms response time, on fast moving objects like sports a little jitter is noticeable.
But the picture overall is the best I've ever seen - sharper than real life ! When you consider that most HDTV images are perfectly lighted and color enhanced, they actually ARE better than most real-life situations, and this TV makes that point to distraction.
As a computer monitor, I bought a $3 cable here on Amazon that allows me to connect the Computer DVI output to the TV HDMI input. I find that the TV does a reasonably good job with the computer set to 1400x1050 and I set the TV to "Cinema" mode. I can comfortably surf the web from across the living room!
4 out of 5 due to the very weak sound output that can easily be driven to distortion.
Overall very happy with the Samsung LN32A450 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV. Especially since I purchased in March 2009 at $505, and as of this review its up close to $600 !

I bought a 52 inch Samsung LCD (From Amazon) for my family room, I liked it so much I bought the 32 inch for my bedroom. It has a great picture and sound, would buy another Samsung in the future. I received the tv within a week from the day I ordered. Great Service from Amazon!
