This camcorder comes with very poor image quality and is hard to hold and operate. With namebrand camcorders from JVC and Sharp going for less money and having more zoom and much, much, much better picture quality, this one shouldn't even be on your consideration list for a MiniDV camcorder.Customer Review: G'd up camera

I have to say this camcorder is well worth the price, it is really small, and it has a really good look. Plus the nite pix is really good. Their was only one problem, if u look through the viewfinder.....there's no color, its in black and white. hopefully on the next camcorder you can improve that. Oh yea, and while ur at that try fixing the picture,it's good but i think it can be better. I payed $399.99, but i belive it was well worth it!!!!Customer Review: Nice Camera for the Price

I have to say that coming from a JVC VHS-C camera to this is a large jump. WOW. What awesome video quality and color. It's not all yellowish anymore when I record in the living room. I bought a SanDisk 128mb Memory Stick and it works fine. Not sure what the issues are with the other people. Also the camera is recognizable in Windows XP. I plugged it into my firewire card and in about 10sec it said Found New Hardware - Samsung SCD23 Camera. Then I was able to capture the video off the tape in Vegas Video 4.0 and burn it to DVD using DVD Architect. So if you're looking for a feature rich low cost camera this is the one for you.
