Unit arrived promptly and properly packaged as always with anything coming from Amazon Prime. Was able to set it up without manual, charged the battery and within 5 minutes of full charge I was familiar with all the controls and was shooting stills and video.
I bought this for the better half because she was complaining about the weight of her Fuji Coolpix when traveling and needed something she could carry in her purse. Well, this fit the bill. A great little Camera for the price. Sturdily built, nice red and chrome color (girly), excellent zoom, good quality pics, decent flash, good low light exposure without flash. As a photographer this would obviously not suit my purposes, but I intend to purchase one for myself to carry in the car and use for shots where I don't have time to un-suit and set up my professional Nikon D-80 and D-90.
Highly recommend for the average user who needs to capture the moment without packing a load of equipment in a back pack.
