This drive turned out to be great, however i did have some installation problems. This is the first hardware I have ever installed and it probably would have gone flawlessly however, there was a conflict with some old software on my computer that caused the drive not to function properly. The samsung website was not very helpful and after some trial and error I found the software that it was conflicting with and deleted it. The drive has worked perfectly ever since. If you have upgraded to XP from an earlier version of the os you might encounter this same problem. Other that that I am very happy with the drive.
